Access Holdings Plc has appointed Emeka Ogbechie as its Chief Financial Officer, effective February 23, 2026. The Nigerian Exchange Limited filing confirms the appointment, signed by company secretary Sunday Ekwochi. The move aims to strengthen financial stewardship and improve capital discipline across the organization. Welcoming him, the Board stated: 'We welcome Mr. Ogbechie and look forward to his valuable contributions toward advancing our value creation objectives.' Mr. Ogbechie brings over two decades of experience in financial services across the UK, West Africa, and East Africa, covering banking, private equity, and investment management. He previously served as CFO at African Capital Alliance and held roles at Deloitte, Ernst & Young, UBS Investment Bank, Vertex Capital, United Capital, and Equity Bank. As CFO, he will oversee cash flow, financial planning, and strategic priorities. Access Holdings reported N616.25 billion profit before tax for nine months ended September 30, 2025, up 10.4% from 2024. The company's stock is up more than 24% year-to-date at N26.20.
