ADC’s National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration of allowing corruption to thrive, describing corruption as economic banditry as defined in the party’s Orange Book. He said the term was chosen to show that corruption can be as damaging to Nigeria as violent banditry because of its harm to lives, the economy and wider society.

He alleged that under Tinubu, corruption has been given considerable room to operate, pointing to the composition of the President’s campaign team as evidence of a corruption‑friendly administration and claiming that officials facing graft allegations are being protected and appointed. Abdullahi warned that this environment undermines public trust and national development.

The ADC declared that, if elected, it will make the fight against corruption a major part of its governance agenda and urged Nigerians to support its efforts to challenge the Tinubu administration, inviting citizens to consider these claims when evaluating political options and demanding accountability.
