The African Democratic Congress (ADC) marked President Bola Tinubu's 74th birthday on March 29, 2026, with a sharp rebuke, declaring the 'Renewed Hope' agenda has become 'hopelessness' for millions. National Publicity Secretary Malam Bolaji Abdullahi claimed fuel prices have surged nearly 500% under Tinubu's leadership, turning transportation into 'a daily calculation of survival.'

The opposition party cited Nigeria's ranking as 4th on the Global Terrorism Index, stating that 'every hour, a Nigerian is killed by insurgents.'
