The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has criticized President Bola Tinubu for his comment that "the game is sweet only when you are winning," arguing it shows a disconnect from Nigerians' realities. ADC's National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, questioned the remark during an interfaith event, asking who exactly was winning in Nigeria's current challenges. He highlighted worsening insecurity, unemployment, poverty, and youth emigration, stating Nigerians cannot be considered winners under these conditions. The party emphasized Nigeria needs serious leadership, not a "gamer-in-chief," and called for recognition of the presidency's gravity.
