ADC demands Works Minister Umahi step aside over Mary Habila's death at residence

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called on Minister of Works David Umahi to step aside pending an independent investigation into Mary Habila's death at his residence. The demand was made Wednesday in a statement by National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi, who said the circumstances raise public concerns requiring transparent investigation.

The party insists the investigation should be conducted outside APC and Federal Government influence, demanding a full autopsy and public release of findings.
