Chille Igbawua, ADC electoral panel member and David Mark's aide, told aggrieved aspirants including Amaechi and Hayatu-Deen to use the party's appeal panel instead of publicly rejecting primary results. 'Saying you don't agree with the process is jumping the gun,' he said in an Arise News interview Tuesday.

Amaechi rejected the outcome, alleging widespread voter disenfranchisement and electoral malpractice, claiming about 80% of party members nationwide were prevented from voting. Hayatu-Deen announced he would not attend the results announcement, citing concerns over irregularities in the exercise.

The party maintains appeal panels exist for grievance resolution. 'If you think things were not done correctly, these are human processes and something is bound to go wrong, that's why appeal panels were put in place,' Igbawua explained, noting they previously withheld clearance for only two candidates who were later cleared by appeal.

With Atiku reportedly leading by wide margin in Edo, Ondo and Oyo, will the party's internal disputes unite behind the winner or fracture its chances in the general election?
