ADC spokesman claims Peter Obi lured into NDC, says he’s trapped

He noted that the NDC gained opposition standing through a court order on December 10, 2026, but is currently classified only as a political association pending appeal. Okonkwo added that opposition parties had united behind the ADC on July 2, 2026, with Obi present, before his move to the NDC, which he says was a trap set to draw him away. He asserted that all opposition candidates have now rallied behind Atiku.
