ADC vows to prosecute corrupt members, unveils ethical code
National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bolaji Abdullahi, has declared the party will prosecute corrupt members without exception. Speaking on TVC's Fireworks, Abdullahi stated the ADC is developing an ethical code to distinguish itself from Nigeria's discredited political class. The party aims to restore public trust by holding officials accountable, including those previously in office who abused positions. Abdullahi criticized selective anti-corruption enforcement, citing former Kaduna governor Nasir El-Rufai and ex-AGF Abubakar Malami as examples. He argued justice must be impartial, like the judiciary's blind symbol, contrasting with APC's leniency toward its members. The ethical code, to be released soon, enforces zero tolerance for past abuses.
