AFCON Round of 16: Morocco, Cameroon advance; Nigeria faces Mozambique Monday

Morocco defeated Tanzania 1-0 in Sunday's AFCON Round of 16 tie to advance to the quarter-finals. In the other Sunday fixture, Cameroon beat South Africa 2-1 and will now face Morocco in the last-eight clash.

More Round of 16 games are scheduled for today (Monday, January 5). At 6pm WAT, Egypt takes on Benin Republic at Stade Adrar in Agadir. At 9pm WAT, Nigeria's Super Eagles face Mozambique at Fez Stadium in Fes, Morocco.

Cameroon coach Davis Pagou named his team as the most cohesive in the tournament. Mozambique coach admits his squad knows they can beat Nigeria and revealed a huge offer to motivate the players.
