Anthropic releases Claude Mythos 5.1 AI model, but Nigerians still locked out

Anthropic launched Claude Mythos 5.1 on September 1, 2026, a restricted AI model aimed at approved cybersecurity and life science organisations. The model costs $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens, features a one‑million‑token context window and can return up to 128,000 tokens per response.
