Ashe, Fakorede, Ajayi reach men’s 100m semis at Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games

Favour Ashe won his heat in 10.10 seconds to qualify for the men’s 100m semi‑finals, beating Kenya’s Meshack Babu (10.21s) and Guyana’s Akeem Stewart (10.55s). Nicholas Fakorede finished second in his heat with 10.21 seconds, behind Lesotho’s Mojela Koneshe who set a new national record of 10.07 seconds.
