Atiku announces death of media aide Ifeanyi Izeze

Former VP Atiku Abubakar announced the death of Mr. Ifeanyi Izeze, a pioneering member of his media team. Izeze joined Atiku's team in 2006 after serving as office manager at ALSCON in Ikot-Abasi. Bringing experience from journalism and Nigeria's oil and gas sector, he shaped media strategies for Atiku, particularly in the Niger Delta. Trained as a geologist at the University of Port Harcourt, Izeze transitioned into journalism, reporting on oil and gas for Sunray, Anchor and NewAge newspapers before joining ALSCON. Known for his humor and devout Christian faith as an ordained preacher in Christ Embassy, he is survived by children, grandchildren, and his brother Pastor Emeka Izeze. Burial details pending. Atiku's media office expressed condolences.
