Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar holds commanding lead in African Democratic Congress presidential primaries with 1,390,276 votes from 25 states and FCT. Rotimi Amaechi trails with 248,455 votes, while Mohammed Hayatu-Ddeen has 156,075 votes. Both contenders rejected results before collation began, alleging widespread irregularities in Monday's primaries across 36 states and FCT. ADC suspended result announcement until 8 p.m. Wednesday, with 12 states including Lagos, Rivers, and Kaduna still pending. INEC officials monitored collation on Tuesday. Atiku dominated northern states with massive margins - 177,141 in Adamawa, 155,595 in Kano, and 136,933 in Gombe. Amaechi recorded notable wins in Akwa Ibom and Ebonyi. With results still emerging, political watchers will monitor if lead holds or challenges intensify.
