Balogun set for Shooting Stars move from Ikorodu City

Alade Balogun is nearing a move to Shooting Stars in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). The forward has reportedly accepted personal terms with the Oluyole Warriors and will reunite with coach Nurudeen Aweroro, who joined Shooting Stars at the start of the 2025-26 season. Balogun featured for Ikorodu City during the first stanza of the current season. He previously played for nine-time NPFL champions Enyimba. The transfer would strengthen Shooting Stars' attacking options as they prepare for the second stanza of the league season. Ikorodu City will need to find a replacement for their former forward before the transfer window closes.
