BOUESTI College of Science Issues Urgent Schedule Update for 100-Level Practicals

The College of Science at the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI), has issued an urgent directive regarding the commencement of mandatory laboratory sessions for all 100-level students.

According to a bulletin posted at the university, the CHM 113 (General Chemistry Practical I) session is scheduled to begin immediately on Friday, January 16, 2026. The session will commence at 10:00 AM sharp inside the Chemistry Laboratory.

Officials emphasized that attendance is compulsory for all registered students. Additionally, strict protocols regarding laboratory equipment have been instated.

"Students are required to come with their purchased practical materials to the class",the notice stated, adding that these materials are currently available for purchase directly at the Chemistry Lab.

Schedule Adjustment for Biology In a related development, the College has announced a rescheduling of the BIO 117 (General Biology Practical I) session. Originally slated for an earlier time, the practical will now take place on Monday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Students are advised to adjust their schedules accordingly to ensure full participation in these credit-bearing academic activities.
