BUA, AD Ports, MAIR Sign UAE-Nigeria Food Security MoU
BUA Group, AD Ports Group, and MAIR Group signed a strategic MoU in Abu Dhabi to explore collaboration in sugar refining, agro-industrial development, and integrated logistics. The partnership aims to create a world-class platform strengthening regional food security and industrial diversification for Nigeria and the UAE. Leveraging BUA's industrial capacity, Khalifa Port's infrastructure, and AD Ports' logistics expertise, the initiative will establish structured aggregation, processing, storage, and maritime export channels between West Africa and the Gulf. Aligned with UAE Food Security Strategy 2051 and Nigeria's agricultural transformation agenda, the collaboration targets reducing supply chain inefficiencies, enhancing traceability, unlocking new export markets, and developing sustainable agrologistics systems benefiting both regions and global markets.
