CAF invites bids to host AFCON 2028, 2032, 2036; 2027 edition set for Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on July 4, 2026 that its 54 member associations can now submit bids to host the Africa Cup of Nations in 2028, 2032 and 2036, according to DAILY POST. CAF also confirmed that the 2027 AFCON will be co‑hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda from June 19 to July 17, 2027, and described the tournament as Africa’s biggest sporting event and one of the world’s largest.
