Carragher: Raya key to Arsenal title win, City keeper blinks first
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has claimed Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma blinked first in the Premier League title race, with his Arsenal counterpart David Raya potentially being one of the "biggest reasons" the Gunners win the trophy. Speaking on Monday Night Football, Carragher highlighted Donnarumma's error during Manchester City's 1-1 draw at West Ham, where the Italian flapped at Jarrod Bowen's cross leading to Kostantinos Mavropanos' equalizer. "He just gets it wrong and misjudges the flight of the ball," Carragher said. "That was the goal that brought it back to 1-1 and Man City couldn't go on to get that winning goal." On the other hand, Raya produced several fine saves at 0-0 before Arsenal won 2-0. Carragher added: "I think most of us favoured Donnarumma didn't we because of his experience and the fact he's been there before. But there's no doubt that Donnarumma blinked first."
