Champion Breweries Profit Surges 108% to N2.65B in 2025
Champion Breweries Plc reported a 108% profit before tax increase to N2.65 billion in 2025, up from NGN 1.27 billion in 2024. Profit after tax rose 119% to N1.79 billion. Revenue grew 43% YoY to N29.8 billion, outpacing cost of sales growth (18%). This drove gross profit expansion to N4.83 billion (107% YoY) and margin improvement to 52% from 42%. The company acquired Bullet brand assets in August 2025, completed in February 2026, expanding market presence. Total assets grew to N82.34 billion, with cash reserves surging to N47.35 billion. Operating profit doubled to N4.83 billion. The Board proposes a 7 kobo dividend per share (up from 6 kobo), payable March 29, 2026. Stock closed at N17.00 (-5.6% Monday), up 21.4% YTD.
