Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle says he'll change Nigeria's tactical approach against Morocco in Wednesday's AFCON 2025 semi-final due to player fatigue. The Malian tactician has deployed a 4-4-2 diamond formation with Victor Osimhen and Akor Adams leading the attack throughout the tournament, helping Nigeria score 14 goals in five matches against Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Mozambique and Algeria. Their high-tempo, aggressive style created the most chances in the competition. However, Chelle admitted on Tuesday: 'I find that my group is tired; it might be time for me to change my approach. We'll start that way, I think. We'll hold on in the first half and try to play our game in the second half.' The tactical shift suggests Nigeria may conserve energy early against a Moroccan side that won't be intimidated by home fans, according to Alex Iwobi. Is this fatigue management wise against Morocco's quality, or should Nigeria maintain the aggressive approach that overwhelmed five opponents?
