Comfort Erhabor joins Crystal Palace Women on two-year deal in England
Comfort Erhabor, 21-year-old Super Falcons goalkeeper, has signed a two-year contract with Crystal Palace Women, the club announced on Thursday, September 2, 2026. The deal follows her six appearances for Portsmouth in the 2025/26 season after spells on loan at Hibernian and Plymouth Argyle and a stint in the Brighton & Hove Albion Academy.
Born in the Netherlands and raised in England, Erhabor chose to play for Nigeria, making her Super Falcons debut in a February friendly against Cameroon and earning a call‑up for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, though she remained on the bench throughout the tournament.
Palace manager Jo Potter welcomed her, calling her a promising young goalkeeper and expressing delight at her arrival. The move comes days after another Super Falcons player, Rofiat Imuran, completed a transfer to Aston Villa, highlighting a growing trend of young Nigerian internationals seeking regular football in the English women’s game.
For Erhabor, the immediate challenge is to win a starting spot at Palace and continue her development while competing for increased opportunities at both club and international level.
Will this transfer give her the regular playing time needed to break into the Super Falcons starting lineup and establish herself among the world’s top goalkeepers?
