Crystal Palace have signed Super Falcons goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor on a permanent two-year contract, announced September 4, 2026. The 21-year-old previously played for Portsmouth, making six appearances last season, and came through Brighton & Hove Albion’s academy with loan spells at Hibernian and Plymouth Argyle.

Erhabor’s move to the Women’s Super League marks a step forward for Nigerian women’s football, giving her exposure to top-tier English competition ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where she is already named in the Super Falcons squad. It also highlights the growing pipeline of Nigerian talent into European clubs.

The deal includes no transfer fee disclosed; Erhabor will join Crystal Palace’s squad immediately and aims to compete for playing time. For young Nigerian female athletes, her path shows the value of academy training, loan experience, and international caps. Will you follow her progress in the WSL and see if she earns a regular starting spot ahead of the AfCON?
