Czechia and Qatar have been knocked out of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after losing their final group matches. Mexico beat Czechia 3‑0 on June 25, while Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Qatar 3‑1 on June 24. The losses send Czechia and Qatar joining Uzbekistan, Panama, Haiti, Turkey, Jordan and Tunisia as the eight teams already eliminated from the tournament.

In this expanded 48‑team format, the eight best third‑placed teams also advance to the Round of 32, so the eliminations do not yet decide all knockout‑stage spots. More group‑stage games are scheduled for later today, and additional teams could be knocked out before the round of 32 line‑up is set.

For African fans, Morocco has already secured a place in the Round of 32, becoming the continent’s first qualifier. The remaining matches will determine which African sides join them and which other confederations fill the remaining slots.

Keep an eye on today’s fixtures to see which third‑place teams make the cut, and check the official FIFA schedule for kickoff times and venues.
