Dangote Launches N500k Whistleblower Reward Against Illegal Truck Haulage
Dangote Industries Limited has launched a whistleblowing initiative offering N500,000 cash rewards for credible information leading to the arrest of offenders or interception of unauthorised goods transported on Dangote trucks. The initiative covers all Dangote subsidiaries, specifying authorised goods for each truck type: Cement trucks carry only cement, limestone, gypsum, coal, clinker; Sugar trucks carry sugar products; NASCON trucks carry Dangote Salt and DanQ Seasoning; Packaging vehicles carry bags and packaging; Petrochemical trucks carry polypropylene; Fertiliser trucks carry urea fertiliser. Any Dangote truck found transporting unauthorised goods is treated as illegal haulage, risking arrest for drivers and owners, cargo confiscation, and prosecution. Whistleblowers must provide truck type, plate number, cab number, location, goods description, truck colour, and photos if possible. Dedicated hotlines are available for reports from Obajana, Okpella, and Gboko plants, with law enforcement authorised to arrest offenders.
