Davido, Rema, Omah Lay headlining Afro Nation Portugal 2027 in Portugal
Davido, Rema, and Omah Lay will headline the seventh edition of Afro Nation Portugal alongside Congolese star Fally Ipupa, organisers announced on Wednesday. The festival is set for June 9‑11, 2027 at Praia da Rocha beach in Portimão, Algarve, Portugal, with an opening party on June 8 and a closing party on June 12. Other announced acts include Shenseea, Valiant, Rayvanny, Odeal, Bamby, Miimii KDS and Victony, plus special guest GIMS. The event features dedicated stages for amapiano and Afrotronic music.
Afro Nation Portugal has become a major annual destination for African music fans since its launch in 2019, consistently showcasing top Nigerian talent. Previous editions have featured Burna Boy, Wizkid, Asake and Tems as headliners, underscoring Nigeria’s strong presence. The 2027 edition moves the festival to early June, earlier than the usual July slot, and maintains its 18+ age requirement with valid ID needed for entry.
