DLM Capital Group makes second ₦1.15bn coupon payment on ₦9bn SBCN
DLM Capital Group has made its second principal and interest coupon payment on the ₦9 billion Sovereign Bond‑Backed Composite Notes (SBCN) issued under its ₦30 billion Medium‑Term Notes Programme on FMDQ Exchange. The payment amounted to ₦948,493,055.89 for Tranche A and ₦197,077,309.63 for Tranche B, made six months after the first coupon on the DLM Funding SPV Plc’s ₦7.30 billion Series 1 and ₦1.70 billion Series 3 Plain Vanilla Returns SBCN.
This timely delivery reinforces investor confidence in the structure, which carries an AAA rating from Global Credit Rating and DataPro Limited and was introduced by Group CEO Sonnie Babatunde Ayere in July 2025. Tranche A remains the most valuable listed corporate AAA‑rated bond on the market thanks to its inflation‑beating upward‑sloping returns. The Group’s consistent quarterly performance reporting continues to give investors clear visibility into the instrument’s progress.
For investors, the payment means the expected cash flows are being delivered as promised. Continued transparency through quarterly reports and the instrument’s strong credit profile suggest the SBCN remains a reliable option in Nigeria’s growing fixed‑income market. Will you consider such AAA‑rated instruments for your portfolio, or monitor DLM’s quarterly updates for further signals?
