Department of State Services (DSS) operatives stormed former Attorney-General Abubakar Malami's Abuja residence on Monday, shortly after former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar spent about an hour there. Atiku's aide confirmed the visit, while witnesses reported DSS surrounded the house during the meeting but only moved in after Atiku left. The incident occurs amid growing pressure on opposition figures to join the ruling All Progressives Congress, with critics accusing President Tinubu of weakening opponents ahead of elections. Malami faces ongoing corruption trials many see as politically motivated. Atiku shared photos from the visit but did not comment on the raid. DSS has not issued a statement.
