Nigeria's Sultan of Sokoto confirmed Eid-el-Fitr will be observed on Friday, 20 March, after the Ramadan crescent moon was not sighted on Wednesday evening. This aligns with Saudi Arabia's announcement that Ramadan will complete 30 days. The Nigerian government has already declared 19th and 20th March as public holidays.
