Enyimba eased their relegation worries with a comfortable 3-0 victory against Katsina United at their Aba home ground on Sunday. The nine-time Nigerian champions got goals from veteran winger Stanley Dimgba, Chidera Michael, and Womah Wilson to secure the important three points.

The win moved Enyimba up to 13th position in the NPFL table with 43 points, significantly reducing their relegation concerns. However, technical adviser Emmanuel Deutsch has warned his players they cannot afford to relax with four matches remaining in the season.

"I'm very comfortable. I feel very happy with the result, but it's not yet over because there are still four matches to be played," the Cameroonian tactician said after the game. "We've moved up on the table, but we should not remain there. We must work harder to climb further because it's not yet over."

Enyimba's next challenge comes this weekend when they face second-placed Rangers in the highly anticipated Oriental Derby at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.
