FCMB App Upgrade Adds Reward Points, Lifestyle Perks, Virtual Cards
First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has upgraded its mobile app with a reward points system that lets customers earn and redeem points on every transaction made through the platform. The update also introduces a Regal Premium Lifestyle Subscription offering curated benefits in travel, dining and entertainment, plus three-month free transfers for new-to-bank customers. Users can now buy and manage mutual funds directly in the app, chat with an AI assistant named Temi for instant support, and request instant virtual cards for online shopping. FCMB has also simplified the process to upgrade from Tier 1 to Tier 2 accounts, removing the need to visit a branch. Divisional Head of Payments and Solutions Oladipo Alabede said the features are designed to reward loyalty, add convenience and empower customers to do more with their finances from their phones. Personal Banking Divisional Head Adetunji Lamidi added that the upgrades reflect the bank's technology-driven strategy to build a smarter, more intuitive banking platform. FCMB encourages customers to download or update the FCMB Mobile App from their app store to start using these new features and take greater control of their financial journey.
