he Federal Government, in partnership with the UNDP and the European Union, has officially opened applications for the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) 2026. This is a massive youth empowerment initiative designed to tackle graduate unemployment. The headline benefit that is making waves is the ₦150,000 monthly stipend that selected fellows will receive for the entire 12-month duration of the internship.

This programme is open to fresh Nigerian graduates who finished their NYSC not earlier than 2022. Applicants must have at least a Second Class Lower (2.2) degree or an Upper Credit for HND holders and must be 30 years old or younger. The fellowship places successful candidates in reputable private and public sector organizations across the country, offering them hands-on work experience, mentorship, and a direct bridge to long-term employment.

To apply, candidates need to have their NIN, BVN, and a digitized copy of their credentials ready. The application involves a rigorous selection process, but the reward is significant—not just the cash, but the professional network you build. The "gist" is that this is one of the highest-paying government internship schemes currently available, so competition is expected to be fierce.
