FG launches GovGuideNigeria AI platform for govt info via WhatsApp and web
FG launches GovGuideNigeria, an AI-powered platform designed to make access to government information simpler, faster, and more inclusive for every Nigerian. Accessible via WhatsApp and web, the service is available in English, Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba and covers information from more than 35 federal ministries and over 60 government agencies. Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy Bosun Tijani announced the launch on his X handle on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
The initiative aims to bridge language and information gaps that hinder effective public service delivery, especially for underserved and low-literacy communities across the country. Tijani highlighted the collaboration between @NCAIRNigeria, @Meta, and @PublicaaiMedia in bringing GovGuide to life, emphasizing that the platform demonstrates what is possible when government, private sector, and local innovators work together to solve real challenges.
Nigerians can now use GovGuideNigeria to obtain details on policies, services, and procedures from federal agencies without navigating multiple websites or offices. The minister encourages citizens everywhere to take advantage of the tool to access the information and services they need more easily and conveniently. Will you use GovGuideNigeria to quickly find the information you need from federal agencies, or will you rely on traditional channels?
