Fidelity Bank appoints veteran banker Jonathan Ososuakpor as Non-Executive Director
Fidelity Bank Plc has appointed Dr. Jonathan Oniovosa Ososuakpor as Non-Executive Director, effective May 22, 2026, following regulatory approval by the Central Bank of Nigeria. The appointment has been communicated to SEC, NDIC, and Financial Reporting Council. Dr. Ososuakpor brings over 40 years of banking experience spanning credit, marketing, retail banking, and risk management to the board.
He previously served as MD/CEO of AMJU Unique Microfinance Bank from 2012 to 2025 and held positions at Union Bank, Oceanic Bank, Ecobank, and Intercontinental Bank. His career began in 1983 at Union Bank of Nigeria, making him one of Nigeria's most experienced financial sector professionals.
