Fidelity Bank has announced the retirement of Morohunke Bammeke following completion of her five-year tenure as independent non-executive director on April 30, 2026. The retirement aligns with the bank's policy for board members. Mrs. Bammeke served on various board committees including the Board Audit Committee and Board Information Technology Committee, which she chaired. She joined Fidelity Bank's board in 2021 and was recognized for her outstanding contributions to the bank's growth and development. With 32+ years of financial services experience, Mrs. Bammeke previously served as Managing Director of GTBank UK Limited, Pensions Alliance Limited, and held leadership positions at GTBank Plc and First Bank of Nigeria. Her departure represents a leadership change at the board level, though the bank has not yet announced plans to fill the vacancy.
