Multiple Nigerian state governors have sent Eid el-Kabir messages calling for religious tolerance, unity, and development across their states.

Anambra Governor Chukwuma Soludo emphasized sharing feasts, charity, and mutual tolerance among citizens of all backgrounds, urging Muslims to pray for Nigeria's peace and unity. He reaffirmed his administration's commitment to ensuring safety for all residents.

Kebbi Governor Nasir Idris focused on practical development, highlighting infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and rural electrification. His administration is supporting agriculture with free fertilizers and improved inputs, upgrading healthcare facilities, and creating jobs through entrepreneurship training and ICT hubs.

Ebonyi Governor Francis Nwifuru urged Muslims to pray for peace, unity, and social cohesion, stating these are solutions to Nigeria's challenges. He pledged continued collaboration with religious denominations to strengthen interfaith dialogues.

Katsina Governor Dikko Radda described Eid-el-Adha as a reminder of obedience and sacrifice, calling for prayers for peace and security. He encouraged Muslims to support the less privileged and promote compassion, while pledging inclusive governance for all residents.

As these leaders promote unity during this religious festival, how can citizens from different backgrounds contribute to building more tolerant communities in their local areas?
