Four Senators Defect from PDP to APC
Four senators defected from the PDP to the APC during Wednesday's plenary session. Senators Ikra Bilbis (Zamfara Central), Aminu Iya Abbas (Adamawa Central), Amos Yohanna (Adamawa North) and Ipalibo Harry Banigo (Rivers West) formally announced their defections to the All Progressives Congress. Their move follows similar defections from the House of Representatives, with lawmakers citing internal crises as the reason. This increases the APC's Senate majority while weakening the PDP's position.
