FRSC Opens 2026 Recruitment for Officers, Marshals Nationwide

FRSC has opened its 2026 recruitment drive, inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for officer, marshal inspectorate and road marshal assistant positions nationwide. Available posts include Superintendent Route Commander, Route Commander/Deputy Route Commander, Assistant Route Commander, Marshal Inspector II and III, and Road Marshal Assistant I, II and III. Applicants for officer cadre must hold a university degree or HND from a recognised institution. Marshal inspectorate and road marshal assistant candidates must meet the academic and professional requirements for their cadre; artisans, drivers and riders with relevant qualifications and experience are also eligible for the road marshal assistant role. All applicants must be Nigerian by birth, computer literate, medically fit and possess a valid National Driver’s Licence as an added advantage. Additional requirements are a medical fitness certificate from a government-approved hospital, relevant professional licences where applicable, and meeting the minimum height of 1.65 m for males and 1.58 m for females. Candidates must be of good character, free from financial embarrassment and without any criminal conviction. Applications open on Friday, July 3, 2026 and must be submitted within four weeks through the official FRSC recruitment portal. The exercise is free of charge; the corps warns applicants to avoid fraudsters, stressing that no payment is required at any stage.
