The Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) honored its pioneer Guidance Counselor, the late Dr. Amos Arijesuyo, during the 5th Annual Memorial Lecture held on campus. Keynote speaker Professor Taiwo Adenegan challenged undergraduates to look beyond academic results, warning that university degrees without "resilience and exceptional skills" are no longer marketable to employers. He urged students to develop adaptability to survive in a tech-driven economy.

Digital Warning Issued During a panel session, FUTA’s Director of Corporate Communications, Adegbenro Adebanjo, cautioned students on "Digital Responsibility." He warned that reckless social media behavior creates a permanent digital footprint that can ruin future career prospects.

The event concluded with the Amos Emiloju Arijesuyo Legacy Foundation awarding scholarships to 20 indigent students in honor of the late scholar's commitment to service.
