Google expands AI image tools in Nigeria

Google has launched Nano Banana 2, its latest AI image generation model, now accessible via Google Search and Lens in Nigeria. The tool enables users to create professional visuals by describing prompts directly through the Google App or mobile browser, targeting students, entrepreneurs, artists and everyday creators. Key features include context-aware image generation with improved realism, consistent character rendering for digital storytelling, and text insertion for flyers/greeting cards. Every AI-generated image includes SynthID watermarking for responsible use. This follows Google's AI Max rollout for Search Ads, aiming to empower African entrepreneurs in competitive digital markets.
