ICPC Clarifies El-Rufai Detention Status

ICPC appeared in court today to oppose fresh detention extension for former Kaduna Governor Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai. Counsel for El-Rufai was served with ICPC's response and requested an adjournment to respond. The Magistrate adjourned proceedings to March 31st to allow full legal response. El-Rufai remains lawfully detained under the March 5th order. The Commission emphasizes adherence to ACJA 2015 and court-mandated timelines, rejecting media trials.
