IGP assures police action against Iran solidarity protests
Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Disu has assured that police have taken measures to prevent law breakdown from Nigeria's solidarity protests over US-Iran conflict. Disu, sworn in Wednesday, stated police monitor global events and know Nigeria has Islamic groups with Middle East ties. Police patrols deployed; protesters urged to avoid lawlessness. Protests broke out after US-Israel air strikes killed Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
