IMPORTANT NOTICE TO THE 2025 GRADUATING CLASS

The University Management has received reports of a planned protest by some graduating students over the delay in the release of final results.

Management wishes to clearly state that the University Senate has already approved the results of eligible graduating students.

The delay in making the results available on the University Portal is due to Senate’s deliberate and compassionate decision to allow students with one outstanding course to be processed for graduation.

The results of students in this category are being finalised and will be presented for approval at the next meeting of Senate on Thursday, 26th February, 2026.

This process is in the overall interest of affected students and is intended to ensure that no eligible student is excluded from graduation.

Upon conclusion of the necessary approvals, the fully approved results will be made available on the University Portal.

In addition, Senate-approved results will be ready for upload to the NYSC portal whenever it is opened for mobilisation.

Students are strongly advised to remain calm and allow the University to conclude the statutory processes. Any action capable of disrupting the peace, order, and normal operations of the University will not be condoned.
