Indonesia arrests French, Italian over Bali porn production
Indonesian police arrested three foreign nationals - two French citizens and an Italian - for allegedly producing and distributing pornographic content on Bali, where such activities are prohibited. The suspects, comprising one woman and two men, face up to 10 years in prison for production and six years for distribution. Police apprehended the French woman and Italian national last Friday as they attempted to leave Bali for Thailand, while the woman's manager was arrested days later in Badung district. The arrests followed the circulation of a viral social media video believed to contain explicit content linked to the suspects. Bali, a major tourist destination, maintains strict anti-pornography laws despite its predominantly Hindu population in a Muslim-majority Indonesia.
