INEC has urged all eligible Nigerians to complete their voter registration before the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise ends on Sunday, July 26, 2026. The commission made the appeal via its official X account, stressing that the registration window will close on the scheduled date and will not be extended. Eligible citizens can register online through the CVR portal at cvr.inecnigeria.org or visit any INEC State Office, Local Government Area office, or designated registration centre for in-person assistance. Centres will remain open daily, including weekends, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. until the exercise concludes. The CVR exercise is part of INEC's preparations for the 2027 general elections and allows both first-time voters and registered voters seeking to update their details to be included in the national voters' register. With the deadline just a day away, anyone who misses the cutoff will be unable to vote in the upcoming elections unless they already have a valid voter card.

Will you complete your registration online today, or will you visit a nearby centre before the 3 p.m. cutoff tomorrow to ensure your voice is heard in 2027?
