Iran categorically denies agreeing to transfer enriched uranium out of the country, dismissing US claims as false. Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesman for Iran's National Security Committee, made this clear on Friday in Tehran while speaking to Al Jazeera. "Tehran rejects anything related to zeroing out enrichment or halting our peaceful nuclear program," Rezaei stated.

US President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed Iran would turn over its enriched uranium stockpile, posting on Truth Social that "the US will get all Nuclear 'Dust'." Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei reinforced their position: "Enriched uranium is as sacred to us as Iranian soil and will not be transferred anywhere under any circumstances."

This diplomatic standoff comes amid heightened tensions between the two nations over Iran's nuclear program, with Trump making similar claims about Iran accepting to transfer enriched uranium. The situation could impact global oil markets, given Iran's position as a major producer and the potential for further sanctions or conflicts in the region that could affect oil supplies.
