Iran strikes US sites in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan after US strikes Iran
Iran launched retaliatory strikes on United States military sites in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Jordan on Monday morning, saying the attacks were in response to US strikes on Iran’s southern coast over the weekend. The US Central Command said its strikes hit more than 140 targets in Bushehr province, affecting the cities of Asaluyeh, Dir, Bushehr, Dashti and Tangestan. A civilian crew member was reported missing after a vessel in the Strait of Hormuz was set on fire and suffered significant engine damage, leaving it unable to continue its journey.
