Iran rejects ceasefire, vows to teach US/Israel lesson
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated Iran will not accept a ceasefire in the ongoing war with the US and Israel, asserting the conflict must end in a way that ensures enemies never attack Iran again. Speaking Monday, Araghchi emphasized this stance is not about seeking war but about delivering a decisive lesson to deter future aggression. The war began late February when US and Israeli forces attacked Iran, killing its Supreme Leader and others. Araghchi claimed the US and Israel have already learned a 'valuable lesson' about Iran's resolve to defend itself. This position comes amid continued attacks on US interests across the Middle East and follows international reactions rejecting US calls for broader NATO involvement. The conflict remains unresolved with no immediate end in sight.
