Iran'sAraghchi: No US talks, war continues as Khamenei funeral set

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Muscat for talks, but senior aide Mohammad Mokhber told state TV Iran has no intention of negotiating with the United States. Mokhber stated: 'We have no trust in the Americans and we can continue the war as long as we want.' Earlier, Iran announced a three-day state funeral for supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, killed in US-Israeli strikes. The funeral starts at 10:00 pm Tehran time, with Khamenei's widow Farah Pahlavi calling his death 'historically significant' but not automatically ending the Iranian system. Pahlavi urged the international community to support Iranians' rights to choose leaders and live in dignity, while her son Reza Pahlavi positions himself as an alternative if the Islamic republic falls.
