Iraq refuses to allow attacks on Iran from its territory

During a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, al-Sudani expressed condolences over the death of Iran's former Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The Iraqi government stated Iraq 'would not allow its territory to be used to launch attacks against Iran,' warning that any strikes within Iraq would violate sovereignty. The conflict between Israel, the US, and Iran has entered its tenth day with reported casualties.
