Iyinoluwa Aboyeji steps down from Learn Africa Board after six-year tenure

Learn Africa Plc announced that technology entrepreneur Iyinoluwa Aboyeji has resigned from its Board of Directors, effective September 7, 2026, after six years as a Non-Executive Director. The disclosure, filed with the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) and signed by company secretaries DCSL Corporate Services Limited, did not give a reason for his departure.

Aboyeji joined the board on August 6, 2020, bringing experience from co-founding Andela and Flutterwave and later launching Future Africa, a pan-African investment platform for mission-driven startups. Learn Africa, Nigeria's largest educational publisher, said his strategic input helped the company grow its educational technology initiatives as the publishing industry transforms. The board thanked him for his service and wished him success in future endeavours.

Beyond his board role, Aboyeji attended St. Saviour's Primary School and Loyola Jesuit College before studying in Canada at Columbia International College, the University of Waterloo and St. Jerome's University. His resignation marks the end of a six-year tenure during which Learn Africa pursued digital learning projects and expanded its footprint in Nigeria's education sector.
